Born and raised in Asuncion, Paraguay, Alex Benitez has spent the last 15 years between his home country, Panama, Boston, and New York City developing a life in the arts. Inspired by the NYC underground music scene, Alex is a skilled cinematographer with extensive experience in short films, documentaries, and music videos. Audiences can expect an exploration of deep, soulful rhythms, disco, funk, house, world music and everything in between. Based in New York City, Alex continues to push the boundaries of his art, merging eclectic sounds with dynamic visuals to create unique experiences.
