Raised in the cultural melting pot of Queens, NYC, Castillonaire’s sound is as diverse and vibrant as the borough itself. Growing up surrounded by an eclectic mix of global music—from the pulsating sound of Budots to the global grooves of Cumbia—he was exposed to a vast array of influences that sparked his journey into production. While Queens gave him access to everything from Hip-hop to Dancehall, it was his deep dive into French Touch, UK Garage, Funk Carioca, and Budots that would shape his unique style.
