Karl Brisseaux is a Haitian-American DJ, producer, music lover, and vinyl record enthusiast based in the New York Metropolitan Area. His DJ sets and original compositions both draw from an eclectic sensibility that spans across various genres, geographies, and eras. Karl is a resident DJ at The Lot Radio, an independent, non-profit, online radio station in Brooklyn. The station broadcasts 24/7 from a reclaimed shipping container on an otherwise empty lot, and features international stars and rising local talents as resident DJs and guests. His weekly all-vinyl party at Record Room in Queens delivers a pitch-perfect party experience that is simultaneously nostalgic and cutting-edge. Karl is also a partner and resident DJ at Proof of Concept, a party collective committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces for all people of color and their allies to dance, connect, and unwind.
