Olivier Richard was Born in the Northern Rhône Valley, France, into a family of winemakers, so regions like Saint-Joseph and Syrah were part of his upbringing from the start. He began his wine career in 2008, working for a domaine in the Rhône Valley, and later moved to New York City in 2010 to help develop sales and gain deeper insight into U.S. distribution. In 2011, Olivier helped establish a group of small organic and biodynamic producers, taking charge of exports. He met Jeremy through this work, and after years of friendship and shared experiences, Olivier left the group in 2020. Motivated by his connection with the U.S. wine market - and a love for In-N-Out - he co-founded Stork Wine Company with Jeremy to focus on bringing great wines to the U.S. and collaborating closely with winemakers.
